I have to disagree with you on this. Both bowhuntersrave and theheritagehunters.com are working to help preserve our hunting heritage and the heritage of others. One way to do that is to get like minded outdoor enthusiasts together to share stories and pictures. We are all working toward the same goal so instaed of it being a compitition I see it as we are working as a team.

I have to agree with the heritagehunters. To preserve the right to hunt for us and those that will come after us with what ever weapon one might choose. That is why Bowhuntersrave.com and The heritagehunters.com websites are asking for you{the viewer of our websites} to participate in posting photos, stories, messages and help us preserve what our founding fathers stated in the 2nd amendment: The Right to Keep and Bare Arms

Wildman, Thank you for your comments. I personally feel that opinions like yours are valuable for the improvement of sites like these/ours.www.theheritagehunters.com is not just a bowhunting site however. The first video episode posted on the site (FieldTrips Episode #1 "The Decision") does relate to a decision in the arena of bowhunting but future episodes will range from Turkey Hunting to superstitions related to any form of hunting to Hunting mentors. I am unaware of any site that actually produces a video short and then asks for it's critique on it's own forum (this is what is done and will continue to be done on www.theheritagehunters.com) Yes, we both have message boards in which visitors can post whatever topic they want to discuss, but as others have stated, why not look at it as these two sites (www.bowhuntersrave.com and www.theheritagehunters.com) are giving visitors various styles of hunting information and discussion topics that helps us all "scratch the itch" until we can all get in a tree come Fall :-) I've got to give bowhuntersrave credit for stopping by our site (as we have stopped by his) to make a few posts here and there as well as welcoming us to his site. There are still many sites that feel that there's a monopoly on hunting information. -HH

Hi, I really enjoy your website! What I do not understand though is why do you and theheritagehunters post on each others websites. I would think that the two websites are competing for the same visitors, or do I see it wrong. Owensboro, KY

For 1. Bowhuntersrave.com and Theheritagehunters.com are 2 different websites that are asking you the visitor for the same participation in our websites. 2. Bowhuntersrave.com is for bowhunters only. Theheritagehunters are for every outdoor experience covering all hunting and fishing and whatever else outdoors. 3. That is the difference in a nut shell. 4. Why do we post on each others website's. If you ask HH you would find that they as well as I post on other website forums too. Hunter1

To put it bluntly....there is no competing between websites. Both sites work together to share knowledge, stories, pics, videos, advice, etc. about hunting. It is a joint effort. Based on the declining numbers of registered hunters, all hunting websites need to work together like Bowhuntersrave.com and Theheritagehunters.com to fight the anti-hunter groups. Great job to both sites.

Yep nothing wrong with like minded folks working together. Its the hunting websites that act like trolls that bother me. they will come to a site and post stuff about their site, and then delete your post if you do it on theirs. I can say that I have not seen this type of thing with Heritage hunters or bowhuntersrave.---------- http://www.HuntingHole.com http://www.CycleServants.org
